Pulpit Supply
- Faculty and staff members are available for preaching in Sunday services and teaching adult Sunday school classes. This could apply for vacations, illnesses, or even a planned series of messages.
Conference Ministry
- Faculty and staff members are available to speak at special meetings such as Bible conferences, missions conferences, biblical creationism seminars, family life seminars, etc.
Bible Institute
- Faculty and staff members are available to teach in local church Bible institutes during the week. Many churches incorporate such special meetings into their regular mid-week service schedule.
Placement Service & Pastoral Search Committees
DBTS has been able to help scores of churches with the demands of a pastoral transition. In addition to helping with pulpit supply for churches in SE Michigan, DBTS operates a placement service. It has a two part emphasis. First, we are eager to assist our graduates in finding a place of meaningful ministry in strong Fundamental local churches. Second, we offer assistance to local churches that are looking for a new pastor or who may be seeking to add another pastoral staff member.
Interested churches should contact the seminary for assistance. A completed copy of the DBTS Church Survey must be submitted before prospect referrals can be transmitted.
